I watched the biggest yearly contest in Singapore. Chingay.
샘 형의 친구분이 공짜 표를 주신 덕에 가게 되었는데,
I got a free ticket from Sam's friend,
아무런 정보 없이 갔다가 멋진 행사를 정말 재밌게 잘 보고 왔다.
It's awesome and fantastic even though I didn't have any information about it.

Chingay 는 많은 인원들이 참가하는 Parade 라고 생각하면 되는데,
Chingay is a parade that a lot of people perform, dance and march.
다국적 국가인 싱가폴의 특징을 잘 살려서, 여러 나라의 모습, 문화 등을 볼 수 있다.
It shows very specialized things for Singapore. That means it shows a lot of nationalities and cultures.
2시간 남짓한 공연 시간 동안 다양하고도 화려한 Parade 를 보면 감탄을 금할 수가 없다.
It's absolutely fantastic. Various and lots of people (over than 6,000)
내가 1년 반 싱가폴에서 사는 동안 가장 멋진 볼거리가 아니였나 싶다.
It's the most impressive thing since I've been here 1 year and half.

우리에게 표를 준 조앤. 공연을 준비하고 있다.
She's Joen who gave the tickets to us. She was preparing her performance.
보시는 바와 같이 일반 거래용이 아닌 Premium. :)

공연잔 모습. F1 Pit 에서 진행되었다. 작년까진 오차드 거리에서 했었다고 함.
The place. F1 Pit in Marina. I heard Chingay performed in Orchard until last year.
F1 Pit 이어서 엄청나게 크다. 직선 거리가 제대로 김.
It's really big and long because of F1 Pit.
드디어 시작. 화려한 폭죽쇼가 시작을 알려주었다.
Started! Big firecrackers started to parade.
원래 Chingay 유래가 폭죽놀이로 시작했다고 한다. 그래서인지 엄청난 양의 폭죽이 파바바박.
I heard Chingay is based on historical firecrackers playing. Thus mass amount of firecrackers bombed.
이제부터 진짜 장관인데, 사진에서 보이는 여신상과 유니콘 상이 진짜 저 크기로 나온다.
심지어 퀄러티도 좋다. 그 주위에는 관련된 복장을 하고 나와서 춤추면서 지나간다.
The main parade started. It's really awesome. You can see the big moving object.
Additionally, its quality was pretty good. And many dancers performed around the object.
대박임. 그 뒤로는 Singapore Flyer 형상이 따라오고 있다.
So nice! Singapore Flyer object following.
사자 춤을 추는 무리들.
Lion dancing.
이건 어느 나라인지 모르겠지만, 쟤는 눈도 깜빡이면서 간다.
I don't know what country's thing. Anyway the eyes could blink!!
이건 인도. 대왕 불상이 구름을 타고 지나간다.
It's India's. A big budda(?) ride a cloud.
이건 이집트 인 듯 하다.
I think this is Egypt's.
이건 일본. 겁나 일본틱 하다. :) 유일하게 마이크로 육성 노래를 부르더군.
That's Japan's. I can notice immediately. Singers sang in live.
이건 어디였는 지 모르겠지만, 옷이 정말 화려했었다.
I don't know this but it's very fancy.
우산행렬. 아마 싱가폴 근대화 시절을 보여주는 듯 하다.
Umbrellas. I guess it showed Singapore's modern history.
대형 거미줄. 저 녹색은 사람임. 실제 사람.
A big spiderweb. The green one is a real person.
뜬금없이 나온 스타워즈 코스츔 무리들. 겁나 더워보인다. 덜덜.
Starwars costume group. I thought they were really hot.
중국 스타일 천 및 행차. 저 긴 천으로 강을 묘사하려는 듯 했다.
It's a Chinese style long fabric. They showed a river with the long fabric.
계속된 중국 스타일의 긴 천 행렬.
More fabrics showed Chinese style parade.
대형 상 중에서 가장 퀄러티가 좋았단 사자.
It's the best quality object - Lion.
상당히 퀄러티가 좋았던 부분. 화려하면서도 색감이 잘 정돈된 느낌이었다.
Impressive part. Fancy clothes but well arranged.
곧 센토사에 완성될 유니버설 스튜디오를 나타낸 행렬. 얘기를 들어보니 상당히 거대하게 만든다고 한다.
It shows the Universal Studio which will open soon in Sentosa Island. It may be very big theme park.
불꽃놀이 시작~~ 저 앞에 있는 팬더는 진짜 사람이 들어가 있었다. 엄청 더울듯...
Fireworks started~ A man acted the Kung-Fu Panda. He felt definitely hot...
거의 마지막 행렬. 북위에서 뭔가 하고 뛰고 뒹굴고 막 그랬다.
That's almost last parade. Some guys performed something on big drums.
불꽃 다시 발사~ 이걸 마지막으로 Parade 종료.
Fireworks again. Then the parade finished.
위의 사진에 올리지 못한 것들도 훨씬 많다.
There were even more pictures and moving objects I don't upload.
2시간이 정말 순식간에 지나가 버릴 정도로, 다양하면서도 높은 퀄러티로 진행되는 Parade 에 감탄을 금치 못했다.
I got a big impression about its various parades and good qualities. I couldn't get any boring for that 2 hours.
내년에 부모님 꼭 보여드리고 싶은데 어떻게 될지는 모르겠다.
I wish I want to show this to my parents next year... but can't be sure now.
