boost::tokenizer

A simple example how to use boost::tokenizer.

This splits a string by a space (' ').

std::string dummy = "abcd efg hijk lmn opqr stu vw xyz";

typedef boost::tokenizer< boost::char_separator< char > > tokenizer;
boost::char_separator< char > sep(" ");
tokenizer tok( dummy, sep );

std::vector< std::string > > vTokes;
std::copy( tok.begin(), tok.end(), std::back_inserter( vTokes ) );

선생님께 악보 받고 한번 따라 부를 땐 몰랐었는데, 노래를 직접 들어보니 장난 아니구만.
When I got a sheet from my teacher, I didn't know how difficult it is.
But, once I listened to the song... I got a shock and started thinking. Can I do it?

원래는 Alto Saxophone 버전인데, 곡이 워낙에 유명해서 그런지 다양한 악기의 버전이 있음.
The original song was performed by an alto saxophone.
There are a lot of versions which are performed by various instruments because it's too popular!

근데 난 어제 처음 알았음. 하하핫.
However, I got to know it yesterday. :-)

곡이 난이도도 있고, 협주에도 좋아서 그런지 정말 많은 사람들이 불렀더군.
It's difficult and very good for concerto so that many people have played it so far.

This version is performed by a couple of kids. It's awesome!


카오리 코바야시가 부른 게 있다고 하는데 못 찾겠음. 그걸 듣고 싶은데.
I heard Kaori Kobayashi played this, but couldn't find it. I want to listen to the Kaori's one!

Beerfest Asia 2010

Altair 가 알려준 Beerfest Asia 2010.
Altair gave information about Beerfest Asia 2010 in Singapore.

F1 경기장 옆에서 열렿고, 상당히 괜찮았음.
The location was near F1 Promenade at Marina Bay. The festival was very good.

요새 월드컵 때문에 체력이 부족해서 세계 맥주를 많이 먹어보지는 못했지만,
Unfortunately, I couldn't drink a lot of beer because I was so tired by World Cup.

그래도 즐겁게 잘 놀다왔다.
But, it was good.

받아온 책자에 맥주 리스트가 있는데, 이게 꽤나 유용함.
The program book is very nice. That has a list of beer in the world.

대략 입구.

공연장. 여러 국가에서 밴드들이 와서 공연을 했음.
Live concert hall. A couple of band from various countries performed.

German vs Serbia.

축구와 맥주는 빠질 수 없는 조합. 많은 독일 축덕들이 왔었음.
I could see a lot of German people who like soccer.

근데 독일 졌음. 켁.
But, German lost. Oops.

토고전이었나. 프랑스 전이었나. 이기고 (비기고) 미쳐가지고 광화문 활보하던 2006 시절.
I guess the day when Korean vs Togo or France. 
Korea won (or drew) the match then a lot of people just strolled / crossed on the road.

물론 2002 때는 더 했었었지.
It was much crazier at 2002 than 2006. (The picture taken at 2006)

앞으로 계속 외국생활하게 되면 저때의 기억은 정말 아련해질듯.
It's gonna be a very missing thing if I stay at oversea longer and longer.

coarse-grained / fine-grained in Korean

쓰레드 관련 외쿡 문서를 보다보면 꽤나 자주 등장하는 용어인

coarse-grained / fine-grained.

대충 영어로 생각하면 느낌이 와서 크게 신경안쓰고 있었는데, 한글로는 어떻게 해야하지? 라는 의문이 들었었다. 

그러다가 우연히 좋은 한글 표현을 발견해서 남겨놓는다.

역자주: 코(장음)스 그레인드(coarse-grained)와 파인 그레인드(fine-grained)는 우리말 한마디로 옮기기에는 무척 버거운 개념이다. grain은 원래 보리나 밀 같은 곡식을 낟알로 만드는 작업이나 표면을 우둘투둘하게 하는 일을 뜻 하는데, 그때아주 곱고 섬세하게 하느냐, 아니면 듬성 듬성 크게 하느냐에 따라 fine와 coarse라 는형용사를 붙인다. 이것이 소프트웨어공학에 도입되어 어떠한 프로세스를 아주 잘게 쪼개느냐 아니면 굵게 쪼개서 뭉뚱그려 놓느냐를 표현할 때 쓰게 되었다. 웹서비스에서의서비스라는 단위에 비해 상대적으로 자바의 메소드는 더 세분화되어있다는 뜻에서 코스그레인드 서비스-파인그레인드 메소드라는 대칭이 생겼다고 봐도 좋다.
