A year

싱가폴에 와서 일을 시작한 지 오늘로 정확히 1년이 되었다.
It's just a year to start work in Singapore.

뭐 새롭게 감상에 빠질 이유는 없고,
I think this is normal and not special.

잠깐 1년을 돌아본 결과...
So, I just take a look back past a year.

나름 열씸히 살아온 듯 하다.
I can think I've been doing well.

영어, 영어학원, 미래에 대한 방향, 승진, 요리, 색소폰, 외쿡인 친구들, 스파4. :)
English, British Council, A new mind for my future, Promoted, Cooking, Saxophone, Foreign friends, SF4. :)


하지만 다 잘한 건 아니고 삽질, 뻘짓한 기억도 꽤나 있다.
However, there are also bad things and mistakes as well.

다가오는 1년에는 후회할만한 일은 하지 말도록 다시 한번 다짐한다.
I promise myself to do my best without any regretful things.

Pancake

주말을 맞아 새로운 요리에 도전해볼 겸 팬케잌을 만들어봤다.
I challenged a new cooking 'Pancake on Saturday.

블루베리 팬케잌을 하려 했는데,
I tried to cook a blueberry pancakes, 

블루베리 시럽을 팔지를 않아서 냉동 블루베리 (미쿡산) 을 통째로 산 후
there is no blueberry pancake syrup so that I just bought a frozen blueberry,

시럽을 직접 만들어냈다.
and then I cooked a blueberry syrup.

항상 소고기만 굽고 떡볶이, 된장찌개, 스파게티 같은 쉬운 것만 해오다가,
I used to cook very easy cooking. For example, DDokBokki, Miso soup, Spaghetti.

무언가 재료를 만들어야 하는 걸 하려다 보니....
However, this is a new challenge of new cooking...

망했다. ㅋㅋㅋ
It failed...............

반죽이 너무 묽게 되어버렸다. ㅠㅠ
That's too much liquid in mixed ingredient.

사실 반죽할 때는 몰랐다. 처음 하는 거라 걍 그런가보다 하고 했었는데
I couldn't notice it because I just tried it at the first time, so I just thought that's normal.

처음 구울 때 바로 나의 잘못이 드러나게 되었다.

It showed me my faults at the first cooking.

아 망했어요.
God damn. I just failed it.

반죽이 너무 묽게 되버리는 바람에, 이놈들이 마구마구 퍼져버렸다.
That's too much liquid so that it couldn't make a small shape.

위 사진의 크기는 손가락을 모두 핀 남자 손바닥의 크기.
The above picture is too big as much as men's entire hand size with all fingers.

게다가 반죽이 묽다 보니 빵 굷기가 심지어 얇다.
In addition, it's too thin because of liquid ingredient.

이건 무슨 피자인거냐!!! 아 망했어요!!!!!
That's not a pizza!!! T_T



그래서 최대한 작고 두껍게 만드려고 노력을 한 끝에
I really did my best to make it thick,

이렇게 만들어냈다.

I managed to cook like the above picture.

짬나는 시간에 햄도 굽고 딸기도 썰고...

I prepared hams and strawberry at rest time,

메이플, 초콜렛, 블루베리 시럽을 첨가한 완성판 모습.

This is a final picture with maple & chocolate, blueberry syrups.

망했지만, 맛은 나쁘지 않았는지 사람들에게 준 이후 곧 동이나버렸다.

It actually failed but people really liked it. Then they finished it very quickly.

확신하건데, 다시 한번 만들면 진짜 잘 만들 수 있을 거 같다.

I'm sure I can make it much better than this.

그리고 만들면서 느낀건데,

I'd like to say my feeling I just got at that time,

이거 정말 살 많이 찌겠더라.

Pancakes really make you fat. 

기름, 밀가루, 설탕, 버터, 각종 시럽.

Oil, wheat, sugar, butter and lots of syrups..

평소에 단백질 위주의 음식을 선호하던 나에게는 완전 반대의 음식.

It's totally different from my usual food consist of proteins.

다이어트 한다고 말하는 여성 중에 팬케잌을 좋아하시는 분들에겐,

I really want to tell girls who try to be getting slim but like pancakes,

당장 팬케잌 그만 두라고 말하고 싶다. :)

Please stop eating pancakes now. :)

MIdnight Saxophone

어제 퇴근하고 너무 피곤해서
I was so tired after leaving the office,

운동하지 않고 그냥 10시 쯤 자버렸다.
I went bed with without any exercise at 10 PM.

그러다가 아침인줄 알고 벌떡 일어났더니 12시. 으악.
I suddenly got up with feeling now is morning!!, however, it's just midnight.

다시 자려고 1시간 동안 뒤척이다가 GG 치고 나와서 색소폰을 불렀다.
I tried to sleep again but I couldn't did it for a hour. I gave it up and played saxophone.

왠걸. 이거 왜이렇게 잘되.
Strangely, I can play it well!!!

소리도 부드럽게 나오고 평소에 틀렸던 부분도 막힘없이 술술술.
I can make the sound softly. In addition, I can play without mistakes i usually did it.

게다가 '그대와 영원히' 는 한번도 안틀리고 완주. 첫번째 완주 곡이 되겠음.
In particular, I can play a Korean song 'With you forever' without any faults. wow. It's my first song which I complete it from begin to end.

자다 깨서 악기를 하면 원래 잘 되는 거임???
Do you all play an instrument very well after getting up suddenly?



아 그건 그렇고 이제 언제 자냐.

몇일 전 유투부를 아무생각 없이 보다가

영국의 가수발굴 프로그램인 X Factor 를 봤는데,

정말 놀랄만한 사람이 나왔다. 역대 최고의 싱글 남자 첫번째 오디션이라고.

그녀가 X Factor 를 통해서 가수가 되었다는 사실을 어제 비로소 알아버렸다.

미쿡에도 American Idols 라는 대박 프로그램이 있다.

우리나라에도 열씸히 인재 발굴을 하고 있고, 출중한 인재들이 많이 나오는 걸로 안다.

하나 차이점은, 그들은 성공하게 되면 세계적인 스타가 되는 반면

우리나라 프로그램에서 성공하면 우리나라의 중간정도의 스타가 된다는 점...

그리고 그들은 외모를 크게 보지 않는다. Danyl 만 봐도... 물론 Leona 는 매력적이긴 하지만.

이것도 역시 일주일 늦은 포스팅.

This is a late posting for a week.

imdb 점수를 보고 깜짝 놀라서 회사애들 소집해서 본 영화.

I gathered colleagues because I had surprised by the score in imdb.

그 동안 나왔던 일반적인 외계인 영화와는 다른 접근 및 다른 전개.

It's a different style alien movie ever.

진행도 상당히 빠른편이고, 주인공 아저씨가 연기를 너무 잘해서 재밌게 봤다.

The plot is very fast and the main actor performs really well.

2시간동안 원맨쇼를 하는데 어찌나 그리 잘하는 지.

He shows good performance for 2 hours. Really nice.

나름 전하는 메시지도 있고, 저예산인게 티는 나지만 어색하지는 않다.

There are a few messages which the director wants to say.

And the visual is natural even low budget.

인터넷에서 한동안 들썩였는데, 우리나라 개봉은 10월 15일 이라함. 넘 늦군.

It's already a big issue on internet. However the showing day is 15th Oct. Too late.

너무 기대는 하지 않고 보시는 게 재미있을 듯.

It can make you more funny when you don't expect a lot.

Street Fighter 4 & Gouki

지난달 까지 꾸준히 한 스트리트 파이터 4.

샤워하고 머리 말릴 때, 주말에 할 일 없을 때 해왔었는데

어느덧 온라인 배틀 전적 2579 판을 기록.

최근에는 바쁘기도 하고 게임말고 다른 일들 하느라 잘 안하게 되었다.

그동안 사용해온 캐릭터가,

사가트, 혼다, 켄, 가일 을 주력으로 쓰다가

가장 마지막에 주력이 된 캐릭터가 고우키가 되었다.

물론 사가트로 젤 잘하긴 함.

이 녀석은 욱긴게 외모로는 모든 걸 때려부술 정도로 강인하게 생긴 녀석이

플레이 스타일은 도망을 베이스로 하는 아웃 파이팅.

상대방을 약올리는 기술을 많이도 가지고 있다. 마치 버파의 슌 처럼.

장풍으로 상대방 에너지를 갉아먹은 후에는 죽어라 도망 도망 도망.

그러다가 기습적인 백귀습, 수세에 몰렸을 땐 아수라 도망.

도망 도망 도망 도망 도망. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

오직 도망 도망 도망 도망 도망.

게임하면서 미안한 마음이 들지만 정말 낄낄대면서 플레이 한다.

사실 굳이 도망 안다니고, 열씸히 붙어서 싸울 수도 있겠지만,

그것은 훌륭한 도망 기술들을 썩히는 것. 이는 고우키에 대한 예의가 아님.

가일로는 이길 수 없었던 온라인 특화된 '렉 류' 등을 약올리면서 물리칠 수 있다. 아하하하.

그런데 요새 한동안 안해서, 도망다니는 감이 떨어졌을 듯.

진짜 도망 잘 다닐 땐 한 대도 안맞는 건 일상 다반사.

사실 나 버파할 때 진짜 슌으로 함 플레이 해보고 싶었었는데... 버파6 가 나오려나.

상대방을 약올려서 제 플레이를 못하게 하는 것은 격투게임의 기본!

아무 생각없이 들어간 저 음식점.

We just visited a restaurant.

기대이상으로 상당히 맛있었다.

It was very delicious and I hadn't been expecting.

거기 리틀인디아 못 가본 어린이 두 명!

ION Orchard Singapore

싱가폴 중심이자 쇼핑의 거리인 오차드에 새로 생긴 백화점.

It's a brand new department store in Orchard road where is the high street in Singapore.

건물을 참 예쁘게도 지어놨다.

I think it's a really well designed architecture.

게다가 MRT (지하철) 과 바로 붙어있어서 위치도 최고.

In addition to it's directly closed to Orchard MRT Station. It's the best place.

오차드 거리에 가뜩이나 백화점도 많고 쇼핑몰도 많았는데 얘가 들어오면서

There are already lots of department stores and shopping malls,

다른 곳이 상대적으로 한산해진 느낌이다.

they're getting quiet relatively by ION.

이 백화점의 특이한 점은 상층부는 명품관, 지하세계는 일반 백화점 + 푸드코트 로 되어 있다.

In particular, ION has luxury brands on ground floor and normal brands with food courts in basement.

그래서 다른 백화점 2, 3층에서 볼 수 있는 매장들이 지하에 있는 뭔가 다른 느낌. :)

It's a different feeling from the other department stores because of the normal brand shops which we can see then on 2 or 3 levels.

근데 위에서 말했듯이 지하철과 바로 연결되어 있는 지하라서 그런지

As I said, it's closed to MRT station directly,

정말 사람이 많다. 바글바글. 그리고 지하를 5층까지 뚫어놔서 이건 무슨 미로 탐험 하는 느낌이다.

There are a lot of people. Swarmed! In addition, I felt I'm in a mass labyrinth due to 5 leveled basement.

이 곳을 가는 커플중에 명품을 좋아하는 여친과 함께온 남자에게 이 노래를 바친다.

C++ 이랑 C# 이랑 client - server 프로그래밍을 할 때,

When we are programming a client-server application by C++ and C#,

예를 들면 서버는 C++, 클라는 C#. 또는 그 반대로.

For example, servers written by C++, clients written by C#. or vice versa.

신경써야 할 부분이 공통 자료형과 열거형이다.

One thing we should keep in mind, common data structure and enumeration.

공통 자료형과 열거형을 따로 분리해서 하나로 만들지 않으면

If we didn't create a separated method for common data structure and enumeration,

양 쪽에 모두 존재하게 되는데, 이런 경우에는 잠재적 위험성이 내포되어 있다.

Two projects (client and server) need to have it individually, then there is a potential dangerous thing.

특히 시간이 지날 수록, 작업자가 많아서 머지가 많아질 수록.

In particular, as time goes by, getting more programmers, getting more counts for merge,

어느 순간 패킷 번호가 달라져 있다던지. 구조체 멤버변수의 순서가 바껴있다던지.

It can silently happen to change a packet number, or mixed order of member variables in a structure.

디버깅하기 아주 괴로운 상황에 처할 수 있다.

This makes a debugging hell.

예전에 흥배님께서 python 으로 C++ 코드를 파싱해서 C# 쪽 패킷 번호와 구조체를 생성하는 툴을 사용하셨다는데

A few months ago, Mr. 흥배 used a tool which parses C++ codes, then creates common data for C# by python.

좋은 방법이긴 하지만, 뭔가 확실하게 integrated 된 방법은 없을까 하는 생각도 든다.

It's a good way. But, I think there are some full integrated ways. maybe.

좋은 idea 있으신 분은 넌지시 알려주시면 정말 감사하겠습니다.
