Setting up the wireless HDMI display

This post is to share my experience about setting up the wireless HDMI display with followings.
- NetGear; Push2TV
- Laptop
- Intel WiDi

For whom to have a trouble in installing this, I hope this post can help you make it work.

This guide is for the users to have this hardware (or similar one).
- Laptop
- Nvidia graphic card
- Have an integrated Intel graphic card.
- Intel wireless pro (optional)
- Windows 7 or above version.

Let's get down to the business.

1. Purchase wireless display adapter (In my case, NetGear's Push2TV)
2. Install the latest firmware.
 - You will need a wifi connection from you laptop to the device.
3. Check the status and turn on the ready status.

4. Check your Intel integrated chipset hardware.
 - You must know the exact product number to download the driver.
 - You can find out the chipset info from
 - Desktop -> Right click -> Graphic property -> Advanced mode -> Option and Support -> Information Center.
5. Download an exact & latest driver for your chipset. (my case, Intel HD Graphics 3000)
6. Install the driver and reboot.
 - Make sure the exact version of driver is shown in device manager (control panel)

7. Install the latest Intel Wireless Pro driver (optional)
8. Download Intel WiDi tool, and install it.
9. Turn off or Disable Nvidia graphic card. (Easily possible in device manager)
10. Run Intel WiDi.

Important note:
At this time, the Nvidia chipset (even Optimus) doesn't work with Intel WiDi. It may work in some future, but not yet. Don't trust wrong information on the internet.

Good luck!
